Welcome to the National Parks and Wildlife Management Association website.

The objective of this website is to collect, publish and preserve the unique legacy created by a remarkable mix of individuals, operations and wildlife areas that constituted the Department and it's resources between 1952 and 1990.

The information contained herein varies considerably, from Ranger biographies to scientific studies, operational tactics to management strategies and from Obituaries to a live discussion forum for Association members; a collective legacy of the the organisation as a whole.

It is hoped that what is reflected here will act as a key reference point for wildlife managers, conservationists, wildlife enthusiasts and others as well as being a repository of compelling information about past wildlife management techniques and operations for future generations.
