The Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management (1952-1990) was a publicly funded government department tasked with the management and conservation of the wildlife resources in what was formely Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.

It's remit was as wide as it was deep and success in attaining it's varied and challenging objectives lay with the dedicated directing, research and field staff who operated for the most part in remote and isolated areas across the entire country.
